Therapy for Life Transitions
Life can change before you feel ready. Sometimes you’re the one changing, while everything around you stays the same. At With & Within, we help you make sense of what’s shifting and explore what fits now.
Plot Twist:
Life had other plans.
Maybe you're leaving school, starting a career, or learning to make decisions without a familiar roadmap. A relationship may have ended, your family may be changing, or the goals you worked toward may no longer feel like your own.
Even a change you chose can bring uncertainty, sadness, or second thoughts. We offer space to sort through what you're leaving behind, what matters to you now, and what you want to carry forward.

You had an idea of how life would look. Now you're figuring out what comes next.
Life changes can bring up a whole lot of feelings, even when they're changes we actually want! Maybe you find yourself overthinking every decision, trying to plan ten steps ahead, or wishing someone would just tell you what to do already. Together, we can slow things down, better understand what's coming up for you, and make room for the uncertainty, expectations, and emotions that come with figuring out what's next.
If you're going to start somewhere, why not make it here?

Figuring out where to start can be tricky. Right here works
Not everything needs a plan.
Sometimes it needs space .
When life throws something unexpected your way, it's natural to want answers, a plan, or at least some idea of what comes next. But not everything can be figured out right away, as much as we might wish otherwise!
Sometimes we need space to process what happened, sit with the uncertainty, and make sense of what we're feeling. Together, we can explore what this change means for you, what you need along the way, and how to navigate what's next without the pressure to have it all figured out.

As life changes, our relationships
may need room to change, too.
Whether you're stepping into something new, navigating an unexpected change, or simply figuring out who you are in this chapter of life, your relationships can shift right along with you.
Think of relationships like a dance. Over time, we learn the steps and fall into familiar patterns with one another. But when something changes—a new boundary, a loss, or an unexpected turn—suddenly those familiar steps don't quite work anymore. And figuring out a new rhythm can feel pretty awkward. It might even come with a little toe-stepping along the way!
Together, we can explore what these shifts bring up for you, make sense of the feelings that come along with them, and find ways to navigate new dynamics while honoring both your needs and the connections that matter to you.
It's okay if what worked before doesn't quite fit anymore. Finding a new rhythm doesn't mean the old one was wrong.
How we can help you
find your footing.

We slow down the moments that feel overwhelming so you can understand what is happening beneath the reaction.
Restoration Therapy helps us understand how our experiences have shaped the way we see ourselves, feel safe, and connect with others. Sometimes, old hurts show up in familiar reactions, even when we wish we'd respond differently. By recognizing these patterns, we can begin to step out of them, reconnect with what's true about ourselves and our relationships, and practice responding from a place of greater peace rather than pain.
We get curious about the parts of you that want change and the ones that feel unsure.
Internal Family Systems (IFS) offers a way to understand those competing responses. One part may want to take a chance while another insists on keeping everything predictable. We explore what each is trying to protect and what it needs. Your history, relationships, and circumstances all belong in that conversation as you work toward decisions you can feel more settled about.
Our work also happens in the relationship we build together. There’s room to disagree, ask for what you need, or say when something doesn’t fit. Those moments let us practice new ways of relating while staying connected to another person.
