You can be grateful for your life and still feel exhausted by it. Those experiences can exist at the same time.
You can be the person everyone counts on and still feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure of what you need.
When so much of your energy goes toward showing up for
others, it can be difficult to find room for yourself.
At With & Within, we offer a space to better understand yourself beyond the roles you've learned to fill.
Maybe you replay conversations, say yes before checking in with yourself, or keep going long after you need a break. Maybe you want closeness but feel overwhelmed when others need something from you. Or you find yourself reacting in familiar ways, even when you wish you could respond differently.

These patterns don't develop out of nowhere. They're shaped by our experiences, our relationships, and the ways we've learned to find safety, connection, and belonging. Rather than asking what's wrong with you, we get curious about how these patterns developed, what they've helped you navigate, and what you might need now.

Together, we make room for your feelings, explore how your experiences have shaped you, and begin finding different ways of relating to yourself and others. Not because you need to become someone else, but because understanding yourself can create room for growth, connection, and change.

At the heart of our work is a genuine curiosity about people, the relationships and experiences that have shaped them, and the ways they've learned to navigate the world.
We believe that understanding these experiences creates room for greater self-compassion, meaningful connection, and growth, not because you need to become someone different, but because you're worthy of understanding and care just as you are.

Our approach to therapy is grounded in curiosity, connection, and a genuine respect for your experiences, relationships, and the ways you've learned to navigate the world.
We recognize that everyone brings their own history, needs, and ways of making sense of themselves and others. Therapy isn't about fitting you into a particular approach or telling you who you should be. It's about getting curious together, at a pace that respects where you are and what feels manageable for you.
Whether we're using EMDR, IFS, attachment-based therapy, or other evidence-based approaches, our work is guided by what you need. Together, we explore the patterns and experiences that have shaped you, make room for what you're feeling, and find new ways of relating to yourself and the people around you.
Hello! I'm Raechel, the human behind With & Within
I'm a Marriage and Family Therapist, a parent, a collector of probably too many plants (is there such a thing?), absolue animal lover, and a fellow human still figuring out this whole being-a-person thing, too. Before becoming a therapist, I worked in emergency veterinary medicine, where I learned a whole lot about caring for others, paying attention to what's not being said, and how exhausting it can be to be the one doing the caring.
I'm endlessly curious about people and all the wonderfully messy things that make us human. The relationships that shape us, the patterns we swear we're not going to repeat (and then somehow do), and those moments when we stop and think, "Why the heck am I like this?". That's a big part of why I created With & Within. I believe we're all shaped by our experiences and relationships, and that understanding ourselves starts with curiosity, not judgment. You don't have to have it all figured out, be the best version of yourself, or even know where to start. You get to show up as a human, messy parts and all.

me as I am with you."

A REMINDER FOR OUR CLIENTS
You don't have to carry everything the same way forever
Some days you feel like you've got it together, and other days even the little things feel like a lot. That's part of being human, and you don't have to have it all figured out.
The ways we care for others, respond to stress or situations, and show up in our relationships are shaped by our experiences. Sometimes, the patterns that once helped us navigate life can leave us feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or stretched a little too thin.
With curiosity, understanding, and the right support, we can begin to explore those patterns, recognize what we need, and make room for different ways of moving through life. Not by becoming less caring, less driven, or someone entirely different, but by learning that there can be room for you, too.
